Tamkeen Insurance celebrates the opening of its branch in Bethlehem

Ramallah - Tamkeen Palestine Insurance Company celebrated on Monday, 29-10-2018, the opening of its branch in the city, Under the patronage and presence of the Governor of Bethlehem Governorate Mr. Kamel Hameed  and With the participation of its Honorary Chairman HE Mr. Rafiq Al Natsheh, and the Chairman of its Board of Directors, His Excellency Dr. Majid Atta Al Helo, And its general manager Mr. Mohammed Rimawi, and a member of the Shari'a Supervisory Board Dr. Mohammed Al-Jaabari, and members of its board and executive management, in addition to number of  Legal persons and businessmen, and representatives of public and private institutions.

Hameed said, that the opening of the company's branch in Bethlehem is a vital issue, while praising Tamkeen's contribution to the insurance sector.

Moreover, he pointed out that such initiatives contribute to the creation of jobs, and expanding the options available to the public, calling on the private sector to follow the example of the company, and pump more investments in Bethlehem.

In addition, he explained that the company represents a qualitative addition to the insurance sector, which focused on its economic importance.

For his part, Natsheh stressed that Tamkeen is working in accordance with the provisions of Sharia, looking forward to advancing the insurance industry and providing new services to citizens.

He pointed out that the company is not a competition for anyone, but came to constitute a qualitative addition to the insurance market, pointing out that one of the main shareholders in the company, the institution of management and development of orphan funds, in the sense that part of the proceeds go to orphans.

Al-Helo said that Tamkeen is a model for public-private partnership, He pointed out that the company's board of directors and management are committed to government values, transparency and best practices based on the company's vision to build a success story in the Palestinian insurance market.

He stated that Tamkeen Insurance is based on an experienced and experienced staff in the field of insurance, especially the cooperative, over the years.

He added, The Company’s strategy is to expand and spread to meet the needs of all Palestinians throughout the country through a network of branches, offices and dealers.

Al-Jaabari presented an explanation of Islamic insurance "cooperative" at the global level.

He pointed out that Tamkeen is committed to ensuring compliance with all the requirements related to cooperative insurance, which reflects positively on the interests of the shareholders and the insured.

For his part, Al-Rimawi pointed to the company's interest in providing a range of products and services to meet the needs of the public as well as attention to the quality of services and the most important response speed and compensation.

He stressed that the opening of the company's branch in Bethlehem “Al- Salam City” is a strategic issue, as it seeks to provide the best model in the field of institutional work.

Before the event, the opening bar of the branch had been cut before it could be moved to the celebration place.

It is reported that The Company launched a wide advertising and promotional campaign during the current month, in parallel with the launch of its services in most of the governorates of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to organizing various events in the provinces and cities in order to open their branches.
