Sayedati – Micro Insurance Program

exclusive for Palestinian Women, to provide medical care from the risk of being infected with COVID-19

On the occasion of March, also called the month of Women, as the 8^th  of March  marks International Women’s Day, and March 21^st is the International Mother’s Day, Tamkeen Insurance Company Launches a new insurance product called “Sayedati سيدّتي”, which is exclusive for Palestinian Women, to provide medical care from the risk of being infected with COVID-19

This program is considered the first of its kind in the Palestinian Insurance Sector, considering it a micro-insurance, since it targets a limited segment with low costs, and offers special and specific coverages that satisfy the needs of Palestinian Women in light of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

Coverages and specifications:

• The insurance covers the costs of medicines needed to Boosts immune system function in order to reduce the effect of COVID-19, with a limit of 1,000 ILS, and for one time only through the valid period of the insurance document, in addition to covering the costs of hospital stays for the treatment of the emerging coronavirus (COVID-19) with a limit of 4,000 ILS, and for one time only through the valid period of the Insurance.
•   Validity of Insurance: This insurance covers Claims that could occur 30 days after the insurance issuance date.
• Duration of Insurance document: One year starting from the issuance date.
• The insurance covers women ranging from 18 years old to 50 years old.
• Members who suffer from Chronic diseases andor (Immunological: Diseases that occur as a result of the failure of the immune system for living creatures to recognize its own organs) are excluded from the Insurance coverage.

Compensation Mechanism:

Prepayment from the subscriber,

 After confirmation of being infected with COVID-19 from an approved medical center, and the beginning of receiving treatment for the subscriber, and paying related medical costs, the subscriber must provide an infection report, along with all official invoices through sending it on the following E-mail: healthdep@tamkeen-ins.ps, or by sending it to the nearest branchoffice of Tamkeen Insurance Company, and within 40 days of the infection date, where Tamkeen Insurance will cover the expenses within 7 working days from the day of providing the mentioned requested documents.

Insurance Value Price:

The document price is 300 ILS only, paid in cash after the subscriber signs a request for Insurance, and receiving a copy of it.
