Dura (Hebron) - Under the patronage of His Excellency the Governor of Hebron Governorate Major General Jabreen Al Bakri Tamkeen, Tamkeen Palestinian Insurance Company, celebrated the opening of its branch in Dura City, in continuation of its policy of spreading and reaching all segments of society in all governorates of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

And participated in the ceremony, which was attended by a large crowd of businessmen and legal persons and representatives of public and private institutions, Deputy Governor of Hebron Khaled Duden, its Excellency honorary Chairman Mr. Rafiq Al Natsheh, its General Manager Mr. Mohammad Rimawi, and Chairman of the Sharia Supervisory Board, Dr. Hussam Eddine Affaneh, moreover the number of the Board of Directors and Executive Management.

Duden considered in his speech on behalf of the governor that the company's opening of its branch in Dura is a qualitative addition to the company's progress and an indication of its keenness to be present in all cities. He praised the company's role in reaching all segments of society through horizontal expansion through a network of branches, offices and agents. Providing direct and indirect employment opportunities to a large number of our young Palestinian graduates and driving the local economy.

And he pointed to the vitality of the insurance sector as a protector of national wealth, noting that the diversity of companies operating in this sector, gives the citizen many options.

In addition, he praised the role of Tamkeen in supporting the "Tarahmo" campaign, which includes providing 1000 electric chairs for people with disabilities in the governorate.

Natsheh stressed that the company has found to improve the insurance sector, noting that one of its advantages is that the Palestinian Pension Agency, and the Establishment of Manage and Development Orphans Funds are among its main contributors. Therefore, part of its revenues will be returned to the orphans sector, which reflects its humanitarian and societal character.

He explained that the company is committed to providing the best services and broadening the options available to the public, based on the provisions of Islamic Sharia.

Moreover, he pointed out that the company was complementary to the insurance market, and to contribute to the advancement of the national economy.

Affaneh presented an explanation on the legalization of Islamic insurance and its mechanisms, pointing to the vitality of this type of insurance to achieve cooperation and empowerment among the members of society.

In addition he pointed to the growth of the Islamic insurance sector, until the volume of transactions globally last year to more than 20 billion dollars, while the number of companies to more than 308 companies.

Al-Rimawi said Tamkeen is committed to breaking the usual by relying on practices to manage its internal operations, employing modern technology to serve this goal, and offering extraordinary insurance solutions known as "Micro Insurance" targeting low-income segments of society to cover their unmet needs The framework of insurance services in the market.

Moreover, he pointed to the commitment of the executive management of the company to quickly respond and compensation, through the adoption of internal performance indicators specific to the relevant departments to achieve this commitment, stressing that the credibility of insurance companies reflected the extent of their ability to implement this promise.

The company was established with a capital of $ 8 million and recently opened more than 12 direct and indirect selling points in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
